When Johnson County, Kansas, completed construction of its Sheriff’s Office’s new Criminalistics Laboratory facility, they wanted to create a print piece that could serve as a chronicle of the project and as a showpiece that could be shared with various audiences – elected officials, peer county/local governments, and other community stakeholders.
When Johnson County, Kansas, completed construction of its Sheriff’s Office’s new Criminalistics Laboratory facility, they wanted to create a print piece that could serve as a chronicle of the project and as a showpiece that could be shared with various audiences – elected officials, peer county/local governments, and other community stakeholders.
The report covered the project’s history from early stages of planning, securing funds, design and build stages, and overarching guiding principles. The piece also highlighted the work that went into achieving LEED Platinum designation for the sustainability elements included in the facility. I provided contractual design and layout services to produce the printed booklet, collaborating with County contacts who provided various assets and content.
